These pieces are simply leftover scraps from projects of architecture students, alleys, and collected junk. The utilized portions were most likely assembled into something beautiful and well thought out, while these dismantled pieces were left discarded and nameless.

This collection highlights the hidden beauty that can be left behind from these interactions. These pieces evoke symmetry, balance, texture, emotion, and a sense of unintentional beauty.

Item 3.

This piece features layers of plywood like material that create a sturdy and solid base. Each layer is cut on a continuous curved polyline. There are similar lines out of glue and paper that mimic the nature of the cuts. The wood is stain and distressed and there is a break in the materiality through the bright yellow color painted at the center layer and the strips of neon pink at certain edges of the piece.
